Written in 1920 and dedicated to the renowned French flautist and conductor Phillippe Gaudet, Busoni’s Divertimento is scored for double oboes, clarinets and bassoons, double …trumpets and horns, percussion, and strings. The piano reduction is by Kurt Weill.
