This image is a cover for the sheet music of "Summertime" by George Gershwin, arranged for bassoon and piano by John Alley. It also indicates that the orchestral arrangement is by David Arnold and the editor is John Orford. The arrangement is dedicated to Karen Geoghegan, a woodwind finalist in the BBC's Classical Music Artists Competition in 2008. The cover features the title "SUMMERTIME" in a playful, rounded font, with "GEORGE GERSHWIN" below in a similar style. There is a sunflower image on the right side of the sheet music cover. "Summertime" is a well-known aria from Gershwin's 1935 opera Porgy and Bess, with lyrics by DuBose Heyward and Ira Gershwin. It's often performed as a jazz standard and has been recorded by many artists. The song was originally written in B minor but is often found in A minor. The piece is a lullaby sung by Clara to her child in the opera.
