Mark Goddard’s Sonatina for Flute and Piano was composed in London and premiered by the flautist Robert Winn at the Royal Academy of Music …in 1979.
I Tense, building from the very depths of the piano.
II Evocative, using slow glissandi in the bottom octave of the flute.
III A naughty bi-tonal rondo.
