Bultitude, Jade

Jade Bultitude is a talented flautist and dedicated music educator with a passion for nurturing the next generation of musicians. She holds a Master’s degree from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied under Anna Noakes and Margaret Campbell. Prior to her master’s studies, she graduated with a Bachelor of Music Honours degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where her instructors included Jonathan Rimmer, Colin Lilley, Marie-Christine Zupancic, Jane Mitchell (specializing in baroque flute), and Andrew Lane (focusing on piccolo).

Jade’s journey in music began at a young age when she was told she had the wrong shaped mouth to play the flute. Defying this early assessment, she insisted on taking flute lessons, which led her to the local music school, Musicale. Her determination and talent quickly shone through as she joined various musical activities, including the Musicale Junior band, the Musicale Flute Ensemble, and the School Orchestra.
Her dedication to her craft led her to study at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Nicolas Bricht, and later, her exceptional skills earned her the Sir James Galway Rising Star Award. She has also been invited to perform at his festival in Switzerland.

In addition to her performance career, Jade is a committed educator, having taught music theory and practical skills from early years to university level. She enjoys making complex concepts accessible to learners of all ages and abilities, which is a guiding principle in her teaching philosophy.

Jade Bultitude’s contributions to music education and performance continue to inspire many, and her work exemplifies the profound impact that dedicated musicians can have on their communities and the broader field of music.
