Written in a modern but instantly accessible and enjoyable idiom, this is a great addition to the duet repertoire and is published with piano accompaniments for both solo and orchestral tunings. Divertimento was composed in 2023 and was commissioned jointly by David Heyes and Susan Hagen. It is also published with string orchestra accompaniment, in both solo and orchestral tuning.
