Jan Faulkner was a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for many years and was also a Specialist Percussion Teacher at Wells Cathedral School, alongside her appointment as Outreach Officer at the school. She has composed music for almost every occasion, including many pieces for percussion, and is wrote two books [First Bass/Second Bass] for the young bassist.
