One or the Other for Piano presents pieces in pairs: each pair are related in some way. Some are opposites and others complimentary. This starting …point allows students to identify with one or the other and make their choice, before playing its pair and then learning them all! The pieces are all in the grade 2-5 standard with each one addressing a specific musical skill. There”s a good variety of key signatures, time signatures and tempi, assisting teachers to cover all bases. The individual titles are all fun, aiming to capture the imagination of the modern youngster and to convey the characterful nature of the pieces themselves; enjoyable, engaging and not without humour.
