Recorder Group – Christmas Songs & Carols contains eleven flexible three-part arrangements for Descant and/or Treble and/or Tenor Recorders with optional piano accompaniment. Each …arrangement is particularly suitable for a combination of either of these: ✓ Descant 1, Descant 2 and Treble 2 ✓ Descant 1, Treble 1 and Tenor Easy optional piano accompaniments are provided (see insert) to give extra support and confidence, although the recorder arrangements are also suitable to be played unaccompanied. There is scope for percussion instruments to be added in many cases and as well as offering possibilities for a school concert or festival, Recorder Group can also support the U.K. National Curriculum requirements at KS2 and KS3 for playing pieces which have several parts.
