Hunt, Simon
Simon Hunt (1939-2023) was a flautist and publisher. He studied with Alexander Murray, Geoffrey Gilbert and Jean-Pierre Rampal. He performed ballet, opera and orchestral music as well as teaching students from elementary to conservatoire levels.
His teaching method books evolve directly from this work and experience of thirty years. Simon was editor of the British Flute Society Journal from 1987 to 1991.
