A Carol from Flanders was composed in 2014 as part of Recital Music’s series of evocative choral works composed with a theme of reconciliation and remembrance a century after the start of the First World War.
A Carol from Flanders exists in versions for SATB or SSA choir and organ or piano and is a beautifully straightforward and accessible carol with a simple and supportive accompaniment. Suitable for any choir or small vocal ensemble, A Carol from Flanders is a wonderful addition to the modern carol repertory.
