The Ricordi di Napoli is Antonino Pasculli’s most famous composition. Pasculli himself is considered one of the greatest oboe virtuosos and was called the Paganini of the Oboe. Like Paganini, not finding suitable compositions which could fully exploit his extraordinary ability, he composed the major part of the works he performed himself.
