Description

A skillful arrangement of the ever-popular favourite: The Teddy Bears’ Picnic . Review by Andrew Mason in Music Teacher Magazine:

This is a well constructed arrangement (as you would expect from Paul Harris) of an old favourite, for clarinet quartet (three clarinets plus bass). The tune is neatly passed from part to part, with a nice little Adagio section where the bass has the melody. If I had one reservation it would be that the bass could have been given more moments like this; maybe, for example, in sections where there is repetition of earlier material. This would be an enjoyable addition to the repertoire of any clarinet quartet in search of arrangements that are enjoyable to play and would bring a smile to the faces of performers and audiences alike.
